Magnetic ankle bracelet?
Ok, so my mom had foot surgery last year and her right foot hurts a lot when she walks for any period of time. Today, we got her a magnetic anklet at a craft show to see if it would help. It was $20 plus tax. However, upon further investigation tonight, we realized that the only magnetic part of the anklet is the clasp. The rest is just pretty beads.
The brochure puts the clasp magnets at a strength of 7,000+ Gauss. Will this still work for her pain, or should we go back tomorrow and get a different anklet?

You got scammed. So-called therapeutic magnets have no effect beyond placebo. I seriously doubt it is 7000 gauss, therapeutic magnets are typically 200 - 2000 at the surface. However its strength doesn't matter, they have no biophysical effect. The iron in your blood is not ferromagnetic. If these magnets could have an effect, can you imagine what a MRI machine would do to you? They use magnetic fields several orders of magnitude stronger then therapy magnets - I think it would be a very messy clean up job.
Therapeutic magnets are quackery, and there is a reason why they are sold at craft shows. Don't go back and get another one; go back and get your money returned.
