Helpful Tips To Adhere To In Order To Avoid Purchasing Counterfeit Silver Bracelets
Probably, sterling silver bracelets are among the most affordable jewellery items on the planet. Remember that sterling silver usually means real silver. Sterling silver is actually a recipient of counterfeit and such imitations are hard to spot if you're ordering via the internet because photographs uploaded by retailers could be edited and enhanced by using recent photo enhancing software. The answer is easy: try to find trusted and authentic sellers online and this requires a little research for you. On the contrary, it can be a lot easier to spot fake products if you are purchasing at a shop. These are a few of the items to take into accout when purchasing jewelry made of silver.
Look for trusted stores, whether you are buying on an internet shopping site or at a shop. You may certainly see silver accessories at thrift shops and stalls and you might be lured in buying them out. Before you buy such items, make sure you are spending money on really good items. Affordable silver-looking thingies may contain aggravating elements which could cause allergies plus they do not last as long as the real silver jewels. Buy silver jewellery only at stores with established names.
Look at the trademark. Authentic silver shows a marking 925, a trademark of sterling silver meaning it has about 92.5% of pure silver. Sterling silver isn’t 100% pure silver and you better know that. Pure silver is not a reliable jewelry metal but with copper it becomes both modish and durable. You could also look for the S.S trademark of sterling silver. Any item that has less than 92.5% silver will easily fray.
Look for imperfections in the same manner you look for flaws when buying wrist watches or clothes. You can't be too complacent. Moreover, you cannot just choose something and then buy it without having to spend several minutes inspecting its details. Don't forget that whenever you are shopping for silver earrings, pendants, or bracelets, you are not only spending money on sterling silver but likewise for the design and craftsmanship. Nonetheless, the chances you’d buy a dented or blemished bracelet from a retailer of excellent reputation are quite low. Even so, it is good to perform a little bit of inspection before handing in the cash. Look at the lock and give it a bit of a elasticity test. Bracelets have to withstand some stretches because these can get caught on your own dress. If they are way too frail, they might not be appropriate for daily wear.
Most bracelets made from silver now have set gemstones that enhance the elegance of sterling silver and make the silver piece particularly appropriate for specific kinds of wear. However the amount of crystals increases the value of the authentic silver bracelet, therefore a more expensive price tag. Take note that an inexperienced eye may not be too highly sensitive to identify fake gemstones on a metallic bracelet.
You may try these tips when choosing silver rings, earrings, and anklets and get your money’s worth.

Bracelet bought from ebey authentic 925 silver?
Bracelet bought from ebey authentic 925 silver?
I purchased a bracelet from ebay which stated in the description "Authentic 925 silver bracelet". 3weeks later it has turned green. I contacted the seller and explained that description stated it was 925 authentic silver. The seller has replied saying that she has clearly stated that it is silver plated. I have a had a look through all of her listings and none of the descriptions say silver plated BUT when I actually went into her shop her contents page shows 'silver plated braceletes'. However when i click onto this it brings up the exact same description saying the bracelets are Authentic 925 silver without stating the bracelets are plated. Am I within my right to ask for a refund? I didnt pay mega bucks for it (£15) but its not the point.
any help appreciated please.
I left feedback the day I received it as I did not expect it to be a fake.
Answer:
Yeah dude, she totally failed to mention that in her auction. She stated it as pure. Unless she said it was plated, you are entitled to 100% of your money back...
You can open a dispute with ebay and paypal.... she can refuse to give you your money back all she wants, but when ebay and paypal get involved, she has no choice...
So tell her you want a refund or you are filing with ebay and paypal... if you didn't leave feedback yet, don't until you are done with the headache. then leave her negative for being a crap seller... if you already did leave feedback and you left positive, you should really put a follow up on the feed back and explain what happened.. so maybe another buyer might read your feedback and think twice before buying from her
