The Tin Cup Necklace
The tin cup necklace is probably the most popular piece of wedding jewelry or bridal jewelry other than the classic pearl strand necklace. This article gives the history and origins of the tin cup necklace, teaches you how to make your very own tin cup necklace, and it also gives just about everything there is to know about tin cup necklaces. After reading this, you will be an expert on tin cup necklaces. Enjoy!
History
The tin cup necklace recieved it's name from the famous movie, "Tin Cup". Two famous actors that were in this movie were Renee Russon and Kevin Costner. It was filmed in 1996. It would take another article to explain the entire movie so I will try to just some it up in a few sentences. Basically the whole movie is about Kevin Coster who played Roy "Tin Cup" McAvoy, a pro golfer, and Renee Russo who played a psychologist by the name of Molly Griswold. Through the movie a romance develops between the two which ultimately ends in marriage. What does this have to do with a tin cup necklace you might ask? Well, Russon wore a tin cup necklace at her wedding. It was designed by Wendy Brigode, who is a famous hollywood designer.
Renee Russo also wears a tin cup necklace in a movie called "Ransom". This kick started a run of appearances of the tin cup necklace in shows such as Beverly Hills 90210 and Seinfeld.
Other Names
The tin cup necklace has adopted many other names also. It is often reffered to as a floating pearl necklace and a pearl illusion necklace.
The Tin Cup Necklace Design
So what does a tin cup necklace look like anyway?Well, it is a necklace that has pearls spaced out along a chain. The chain is a beading chain which can be sterling silver or gold filled. The pearls are normally spaced about and inch apart. This creates a floating appearance and therefore leads to the illusion that the pearls are just floating on a woman's neckline. The pearls can be real, Swarovski, freshwater, cultured, akoya, or any other type of pearl. If you'd rather prefere crystals instead of pearls, then you can have crystals spaced out along the chain in place of the pearls. This is oftern called a Camilla necklace but can be called a tin cup necklace as well. The crystals or pearls are normally 6mm or 8mm in size and can be in any color. The most popular in white or cream.
How To Make A Tin Cup Necklace
First you need a beading chain. You need 9 pearls. You may have to drill the pearls out a little bit so that they slide easily along the chain. Between each of the pearls you will need to put two crimp balls so that the pearls stay put. Next you will have to crimp a clasp to the end of one side of the chain and crimp a hoop at the end of the other side. It is that easy! If you want your necklace to be 16", then cut your beading chain to a length of 16". The same applies for an 18" necklace.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Why does my pokemon crystal keep deleting its self?
When I save my game, turn it off, then turn it on my data isn't there. It just says new game and options. I read some where else that it said for silver version that "Your Pokemon Silver more than likely has had it's save battery to go dead. You can change it with a 3.8mm SECURITY BIT You can find a replacement battery anywhere watch batteries are sold The Battery size is CR2025"
Answer:
Your internal battery is dead, simple and heartbreaking as that. Because of the clock in GSC, the battery is constantly being drained (albeit slowly) even while not in use, so the games' save files only have a lifespan of about 7 years before they die.
There are methods of replacing the battery - Google "replacing an internal battery for GSC" or something, and you should be able to find a guide. However, you can't get back your old data no matter what.
