Inexpensive Suggestions for Reception table Centerpieces?
I'm having a simple wedding so here's what I was thinking about doing.. A large hurricane glass (or cylinder vase) with the Crystal Accent gems (the water gel things) with a little glitter mixed in for some shimmer, a couple of floating candles on top, and wrap the vase with beaded garland. How does that sound to you guys? Could you give some suggestions if you have any? My colors are probably going to be scarlett (dark red) black and silver. I was worried about matching the reds to everything so I might just end up doing silver and black....
Yeah I'd wrap the garland around the bottom, not the whole thing..
The glitter sinks in those gel crystal things? I figured it would stay wherever you put it..

Second one down,the silver one. Kindof like that but with the garland instead of the mirror. Mirrors get too expensive..

I think that sounds good. I just don't know about the glitter. I think they'll stay in there, but it might just look like specs of something. I don't know that they'd really sparkle in there. I am doing something similar with vases filled with crystal gels and flowers on top. I am also adding glow sticks to the gels to make them glow. It looks really cool. I think you could do glow sticks as well to make it stand out a little more than the glitter. You could get red or just white. Either would work, but I don't think you could get the red to be dark.
