Let us start with some frequently asked question to begin your enlightenment:

• Well, how does it work?
  On consignment. You send your items to us, and we put them up for sale on the site. When something sells, the revenue is split 50/50 between you, the consignee, and us, the consignor.

• What is expected of me, the consignee?
  1) Make neat things.
  2) Sign the consignment agreement. (see below)
  3) Send us your items. (as stated in the agreement, you will be responsible for these shipping charges)
  4) That’s it! (Retro Robot takes care of the rest.)

• What guarantees do I have as a consignee?
  Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your items will sell. We can, however, ensure you that we will do everything in our power to make our consignment relationship successful. Retro Robot prides itself on an honest, open, and positive attitude. We will do our best to satisfy you and answer all your questions. We also ensure that all of your consignment items are undoubtedly yours until they are sold. Any unsold items may be reclaimed by you at any time.

• How do I get started and where do I sign?
  1) Download the consignment agreement.
  2) Email us, letting us know you are interested in selling through Retro Robot, and asking us any unresolved questions you may have. We also ask that you send us digital photos of you work or detailed descriptions of each item. In the case you do not have photos, we may ask you to send us a sample.
  3) Wait for us to respond. While we will usually be able to get back to you within a week, please be patient if our response takes a little longer. We also won’t leave you hangin’ if we decide not to sell your items. We will let you know as promptly as possible, disclosing precisely why we’ve made such a decision, and return any sample items you may have sent.
  4) If we do accept your consignment offer, you would then send us your items and a signed copy of the consignment agreement.
